Pride Toronto requested a rebrand and simplification of their mobile app to reduce confusion and improve overall user experience. The Pride Festival team were hesitant to promote the app due to its confusing navigation and Festival-only content. The goal was to transform it to a useful tool all year long. In the updated app the team honed in on the Toronto Pride identity and unified it across the different applications with proper logos, colours and fonts. The app was restructured for a more logical user experience and year-round content was added to make the app usable throughout the year. The addition of filters for maps increased its accessibility and usability.
